Prayer Request

I have an urgent prayer request. One of my friends from Camp Blue Haven is pregnant with quads. She has until today had a good pregnancy with very little complications. She will be 24 weeks along on Wed. and has been on bedrest in the hospital for about three weeks. Today one of the babies began leaking fluid and she has been having contractions. They are pumping steroids into her and trying to stop the contractions and trying to keep the babies inside of her as long as possible. She needs to be at least 28 weeks along before she has the babies for them to have a very good chance of survival. As you can imagine this is a stressful and hard time for them.I know some of you all know them and some don't but we as believers believe in the power of prayer and we all know God is in control and He is the only one we need to be talking to and petitioning about this situation. I encourage you to add them to your prayers lists and encourage your friends and fellow believers to be praying.
right now the specific prayer is that somehow whether the hole causes the leakage is resealed (which is a possibility) or some other way but that Allison can keep the babies inside her.
I will keep you updated as I hear more.

Abilene Woes

Well I'm officially in Abilene and already things haven't gone super smooth. I had bought a house earlier this year and due to some unforseen financial issues I found out yesterday I'm gonna have to sell it and rent instead. On my way to Abilene I was just so lost for what to do when I found out I just pulled over on the side of the road and gave it over to God and asked for peace and sure enough it is beginning to all come together. We have a lot to do now to pack and move to another place by Monday and then try and sell the house. Please pray that this all works out. We will still have 3 bedrooms so some of you all need to come to Abilene and see me!!!

Summer Times

Well it is officially hot as hades outside and I'm not at all used to that. At beautiful Camp Blue Haven this summer it was about 75 or 80 degrees on the hot days nice cool and rainy and just wonderful weather. It was such an amazing blessing to be there this summer. There were many parts of the summer that were extremely hard to handle especially with Neal's journey on this earth ending but it was so cool to be at a place where people support you and care what you are going through and not what the next journal entry to post is!!!! If any of you got to attend Neal's service you know what an amazing outreach that amazing young man still had even though he wasn't physically here with us I think everybody felt his presense that day that was in that church building. Some of the emails I have received have just been unbelievable. The other big happening of the summer is I'm now a proud aunt. I'll have to upload some pictures on here if I ever figure out how to do that but all need to see Karlee Kay; she is a beautiful baby. (maybe I'm just a little biased) My final act of sheer fun this summer was to go white water rafting in Colorado down the Royal Gorge. It was just awesome so beautiful, but I can tell you from experience the Arkansas River in a class 3 rapid is better in the boat than beating up on the rocks. Now I wouldn't know that from experience or anything like that except that I still have the bruieses over a week and a half later from falling out of the boat!!! I wouldn't do it any other way though. Well I'm off to pack for Abilene where the fun ends I guess and studying begins but at least it doesn't involve the word accounting!!!

I'm back in civilization. After being at Camp Blue Haven the past 10 weeks I'm back in Austin and after a little detour to Little Rock packing my bags and moving it on to the big Abilene.

Spurs

I love the Spurs but it is so frustrating watching them. I'm sitting here at 10:51 well past when I want to be in bed watching them once again struggle against that horrid rivalry the Mavs. They stress me out worse than EY accounting ever did (although that is probably the REAL reason I'm still up). However, I have full confidence they WILL pull this off!!!!!

Great Weekend

I'm amazed how many people have these blog site things its really kind of cool. Things have been so crazy lately but so fun and just busy so I don't sit around and think about what in the world I'm doing. I'm starting to tell more and more people at work I'm leaving E&Y after 7 years and everybody seems so shocked but they all say they can tell I'm unhappy so.... I'm so excited to go to camp this summer I can't wait and after being up there last weekend it just solidified my decision even more. (although I can't breath up there but...). Also, I have had the offer on my house in Abilene accepted so I'm now a new home owner what a crazy crazy life!!!
